The Creator Business Setup Checklist

Step-by-step checklist to set up your funnel, newsletter, deal system, and media kit in one afternoon using CreatorHQ Studio.

Hour 1: Funnel setup

1. Sign up for CreatorHQ Studio
2. Connect your custom domain (or use the CreatorHQ subdomain)

5. Connect your email provider (ConvertKit, Beehiiv, or CreatorHQ native)

7. Test the full funnel: click link → submit email → check delivery
8. Add UTM tracking to all external links

Hour 2: Newsletter system

1. Create 3 newsletter templates: Weekly Roundup, Deep Dive, Quick Tip
2. Write your welcome email sequence:
   • Email 1: deliver lead magnet + introduce yourself
   • Email 2: share your best content + ask a question
   • Email 3: introduce your main offer/product
3. Set up the automated welcome sequence trigger
4. Schedule your first newsletter issue
5. Create a "Subscribe" landing page with social proof

Hour 3: Deal flow system

1. Set up brand deal pipeline stages: Incoming → Qualified → Proposal → Negotiation → Closed → Delivered
2. Create a deal intake form (brand name, budget, deliverables, timeline)
3. Build automated responses for each stage
4. Set up a contract template (use CreatorHQ templates or import your own)
5. Create the invoicing workflow (connect Stripe or PayPal)
6. Build a simple CRM to track brand relationships

Hour 4: Media kit

1. Pull your analytics (followers, engagement rate, top content, audience demographics)
2. Choose the "Media Kit" template in CreatorHQ
3. Add: professional headshot, 2-sentence bio, audience size + growth rate, engagement rate (screenshot from analytics), top 3 content pieces (screenshots + performance), audience demographics, services offered + pricing, previous brand partners (logos), contact info + booking link
4. Export as PDF
5. Create a "Work With Me" page on your funnel
